Luna Blu
Street Unit for harm reduction and protection of the rights of people who engage in prostitution.
Safety, Health, Rights
Since 2001, the Luna Blu project operates in Ferrara to meet people who engage in prostitution, on the street or indoors. Our approach is non-judgmental and pragmatic.
We work to reduce health risks, prevent exploitation and combat social stigma. We offer concrete tools for self-protection and paths for those who wish to change their lives or need help.

What We Do
Targeted interventions for public health and individual safety.
Street Contact
Mobile unit present in the territory to offer listening, comfort items and informational material directly in areas of prostitution.
Harm Reduction
Distribution of condoms and health materials to prevent sexually transmitted diseases and protect health.
Drop-In and Listening
Low-threshold listening space for individual interviews, service orientation and first support without bureaucracy.
Monitoring
Constant observation of the phenomenon (indoor and outdoor) to understand changes and adapt interventions.
Social Mediation
Interventions to manage conflicts between citizens and people who engage in prostitution, promoting coexistence.
Bridge to Services
Accompaniment to health services and direct connection with the anti-trafficking project 'Oltre la Strada'.
Building bridges, not walls
Luna Blu is a stronghold of civilization and public health. If you want to learn more or report situations of distress, we are available.
